He was the lead alto player of the German national Youth Jazzorchestra (BuJazzo) led by Peter Herbolzheimer.
His most important project is the Band Subtone and furthermore he loves being a sideman and playing Jazz standards.
In 2008 he obtained a guest professorship at the Universidad Javeriana in Bogotá for 4 months and he was awarded with the prize for the best instrumentalist at the international Jazzcompetition "Tremplin Jazz d'Avignon" where the group "Subtone" also won the first prize of the jury and the first prize of the audience.
