Sinister Sister plays… Béla Bartók?? Wasn't he one of the great innovators of 20th century classical music, with a vast array of Eastern European folk music influences? Definitely, but Bartók was also very friendly with jazz musicians like clarinettist Benny Goodman. Reason enough for Pieter Claus and his group to give Bartók's music a real facelift. Works like Im Freien and the Romanian dances will be on the programme and will be enhanced by exhilarating grooves, rhythms and catchy melodies that are so specific to this Belgian jazz fusion band.

Maayan Smith - Tenor saxophone
Jan Gesquière - Guitar
Pieter Claus - Vibraphone
Michel Hatzigeorgiou - Electric bass
Lander Gyselinck - Drums
